19 National Circuit

nettletontribe were commissioned by Cromwell Property Group to develop plans for a new commercial office building that would reflect the importance and presence that 19 National Circuit holds within the Parliamentary area. The proposed architecture will set a new benchmark for commercial office accommodation within the nation’s capital.

The building will be a striking design within the locale, with a highly activated and vegetated ground plane. The porte-cochere sits immediately adjacent to the entry and a retail café is located at the lobby entry maximising its exposure to the building occupants.

The built form is contemporary with deep recesses, large overhangs, outdoor balcony areas and shaded windows. The form steps in and out providing a highly articulated, timeless façade. The materiality is corporate whilst timeless, with the use of dark grey tinted glass and metal screening used for sun-protection and timber for warmth along the pedestrian zone.
