Designed as speculative developments for Goodman, the brief was simple; to create a unique identity for each facility and give them each a ‘wow’ factor.
Designed alongside and in conjunction with the adjacent development at Lot 2, the intention was to provide for four unique offices, with four different identities that could all play off each other. These designs have provided for a unique street presence to attract prospective users and be a part of a vibrant set of facilities.
Although ‘hero’ status was given to the office components, the layout and functionality of the facilities primary function as a distribution and logistics centre is uncompromised. The hardstand and loading faces have excellent access to the street along with excellent weather protection under a 40m deep super awning.
Built by Hansen Yuncken with documentation by Watson Young, the original design intent lives strong in the completed facilities.
