The University of Canberra’s Cooper Lodge, Stage 2 is a student accommodation mixed use building located on the Bruce Campus in the Australian Capital Territory. The building comprises of 496 beds in 353 apartments spread across seven residential floors. Residential facilities including a laundry, studies, kitchen and common breakout spaces are located throughout the building. A large common area is located on Level 6 of the building providing students with shared lounge, cooking and recreational spaces. An external terrace on Level 6 also provides all occupants with expansive district views.

The Ground Floor of Cooper Lodge 2 comprises of a number of academic associated student spaces designed to promote culture, community, the art of idea and its making process. Each space was designed to support the University’s vision of an “educated life” through the encouragement of an integrated learning community where scholars, students, accommodation occupants and the general public can intermingle. The University’s indigenous cultural institution, The Ngunnawal Centre will occupy a prominent space adjacent external terraces and facing onto the University Green. The inclusion of “Makers” and “Innovation” spaces promote collaboration with local and international organisations within the University grounds.
