Georges River Grammar School
nettletontribe was engaged to design a new indoor multipurpose sports hall to cater for current and ongoing school activities at Georges River Grammar School.
The newly designed hall offers significant enhancements to the school’s infrastructure with a clear vision to expand student access to indoor sports. The facility is specially equipped for basketball and netball and includes provisions for volleyball, badminton, futsal, and other indoor sports.
Designed to be adaptable, the space can be easily transformed to meet various user requirements. This versatility extends to housing a range of activities, featuring a stage, a full-sized indoor basketball court, equipment storage, potential teaching areas, amenities, changing rooms, and back-of-house facilities.
The hall’s design fosters engagement with the broader campus community by enhancing the connectivity and integration of public spaces. Additionally, the project strengthens the school’s ties with the local community by creating a prominent and inviting secondary entrance from Link Road. This development not only supports the school’s infrastructure but also enhances its role within the community.
