Global leaders in dental equipment supplies, Henry Schein Halas recognised the transition as an opportunity to bring together both their staff and customers in tailored, agile space.

Working closely with Henry Schein, we assisted them with a return brief that significantly informed the planning and department relationships. Coming from four separate locations into one 2,000sqm floor plate was an exciting challenge for all involved.

The design drew inspiration from the Henry Schein roots and connections. Originating in 1950’s New York, the business came to Australia in the 1970’s when it purchased the Halas brand. We drew upon the international style with the simple contrasts of black and white, softened by the today’s mid tone greys.

The public realm at reception is a backdrop of curated monochrome, ensuring the HSH dental equipment was on show as a celebration of the company’s technological leadership. While the workplace is welcoming and engaging with gentle splashes of corporate colour to unify and enliven the workforce. The staff come together at the Commons, a relaxing space again drawing on the American reference of the booth diner, exposed black steel and timber finishes.
