Vibe Hotel
The redevelopment of Northpoint Tower has become a striking marker for North Sydney’s central business district, optimising pedestrian linkages whilst offering an enhanced retail precinct and hotel for the thriving precinct. Originally designed by HDR, the redevelopment marked an opportunity to prioritise connectivity and the ease of pedestrian movement throughout the site, in particular, between Miller Street and the Pacific Highway.
nettletontribe were engaged by Cromwell and FDC to design and deliver the 187 room Vibe Hotel, focusing on a design which would respond to the needs of the expanding professional population of North Sydney.
The design draws inspiration from Sydney’s iconic landmarks, subtly integrating sophisticated patterns and forms to echo the city’s unique architectural heritage. Notably, the bespoke carpets feature designs reminiscent of the Sydney Harbour Bridge’s distinctive latticework.
With a focus on combining elegance with comfort, the hotel offers tranquil spaces for guests to unwind, refresh, and reconnect. It also provides comprehensive facilities for conferences and corporate gatherings, catering to the needs of both leisure and business visitors.
