Vaxxas Laboratory

Vaxxas, Australian biotech also known as The Translational Research Institute is set to revolutionise vaccine delivery and be the nation-first needle-free facility.

Repurposing an abandoned warehouse.

The Queensland Government partners with Vaxxas to establish a facility at Brisbane’s Northshore Hamilton for the manufacturing of products for late-stage clinical studies. We repurposed a 4,000 square meter warehouse into a modern, functional biomedical facility that provides labs, cleanrooms, and office spaces.

This is an exciting Australian innovation in vaccine technology that provides an opportunity to keep this technology in Australia. The Vaxxas HD – MAP Facility enables the manufacturing of Vaccine coated high density (HD), Microneedle Array Patches (MAP) and associated applicators for efficient and safe delivery of vaccines straight to people in their own homes.

A modern workspace interior with pops of colour brings the workplace to life, giving the research facility a touch of warmth. The additional social spaces include a seating and meeting area for workers, a fully equipped communal kitchen, meeting pods and a boardroom.
