Woolworths, Crows Nest

The building is located within the Crows Nest village centre, bounded by Falcon, Alexander and Burlington Streets and Willoughby Lane. The project incorporates a new two level Woolworths supermarket, specialty retail tenancies and 4 levels of above ground public car parking.

The form incorporates differing built elements, materials and finishes that break up the visual scale of the building that provides a progressive design amenity. The car park façade comprises a curving multi-coloured feature screen confined in a white framed awning projection, activating the street frontages. The feature screen was a result of a design competition by North Sydney Council with the winning concept by Tony Leung of a+design group. nettletontribe is proud to create a major anchor to the top end of Willoughby Road, which provides a full range of convenience goods for weekly shopping.
