Rodney Moyle is the Managing Director at nettletontribe. A registered architect and designer with more than 20 years’ experience, he has considerable expertise in successfully delivering residential, commercial, educational and mixed-use projects.
Rodney works collaboratively with design teams and stakeholders to negotiate commercially viable outcomes for nettletontribe’s clients.
Rodney takes an active enthusiastic role in projects from design concepts through to implementation. His experience includes work on the Coronation Drive Office Park, The University of the Sunshine Coast, Roma Street Parklands, 405 Montague Markets and The University of Queensland’s Gatton Campus.

With 25 years experience in the industry, Amy is responsible for the operational side of nettletontribe. With a background in Finance, HR, Marketing and Property Management, her multi role strength played an integral part in the diversity, growth, and development of the practice.
Providing a practical yet unique perspective within a creative business, Amy’s immersive leadership style encourages those to thrive around her. As a member of the Practice Group and Board of Directors, Amy continues to play a vital role in leadership and direction of the practice.

Glen Mallett is Director at nettletontribe. With more than 20 years’ experience, Glen has delivered numerous large scale commercial and residential projects.
In 2015 Glen’s work on The University of Queensland’s Student Accommodation Project was shortlisted at the World Architecture Forum in Singapore.
His recent work in Brisbane includes Roma Street Parklands,175 Eagle Street, the Skyline Apartments, 757 Ann Street, and 25 Montpelier Road.

Melbourne-based Ken Ng is a Director at nettletontribe. He has a keen interest in sustainable design and conservation and helped to deliver the 6 Green Star-rated Workplace 6 as well as the refurbishment of the heritage-listed 11 Barrack Street, Sydney. Ken’s work focuses on commercial master planning, commercial offices, student accommodation and refurbishment architecture.
His extensive portfolio includes student accommodation projects at the Australian National University (ANU), University of Canberra, Victoria University, Deakin University and University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Gary Lo is a graduate of the University of New South Wales and a registered architect. He joined nettletontribe in 2000, became an Associate in 2008, senior associate in 2013 and Associate Director in 2017. He offers expertise in medium to high density residential and mixed use developments and student accommodation projects.
Having worked extensively with private sector clients to design quality residential developments this is highlighted in the East, Edgecliff development that won the National UDIA award for Urban Renewal in 2013.

Senior Associates & Associates
Rebecca Champney is a Senior Associate at nettletontribe. Rebecca is a registered architect and is passionate about delivering high-quality design outcomes which make a positive and creative contribution to the built environment.
At nettletontribe Rebecca is focused on concept designs and presentations as well as design competitions. She has worked on a number of award-winning projects including the Pagewood Design Competition and The University of Queensland’s Student Accommodation which was presented at the World Architectural Festival.
Rebecca’s other recent experience includes Brisbane-based work at 825 Stanley Street, 188 Wickham Street and 58 Abbotsford Road.

Thomas joined nettletontribe in 2017 as a Registered Architect. He is currently the Project Architect for 19 National Circuit, leading the competition submission to ensure the integrity of the design concept is realised.

David Shanasy is driven by a passion to inspire and delight. Chiao Hui Thien graduated from the University of Sydney in 2014 with a masters in architecture. She joined nettletontribe in 2015 with a passion for design and a detailed knowledge of various architectural drafting and presentation tools such as CAD, BIM and 3D modelling software.
Thien has experience in many different types of projects including residential, retail and leisure. Some examples of her work are PNG Vision City in Papua New Guinea, and “The Tower” & “Hide & Seek” counter booths for 2013 Sculpture by the Sea at Bondi Beach. She is especially interested in the design process and the utilisation of digital tools such as parametric design and digital fabrication to bring a concept to life. Currently, Thien is involved in concept design stages for mixed use projects.

Daniel Terry commenced in nettletontribe’s Brisbane office in February 2014 before relocating to the Sydney office later that year. He was awarded a Bachelor of Design, Architectural Studies with Honours in 2012 at the Queensland University of Technology. In 2016 Daniel completed his Masters of Architecture at The University of Sydney.
Daniel has a broad range of knowledge of the schematic, approval, tender and construction phases of a project and has worked in the commercial, residential, retail, student accommodation, industrial and health sectors. Recently, Daniel has led a team delivering the Tuggeranong Office Park development for the Department of Social Services and has worked on a high-rise residential development for Dunnet Properties in Epping. Daniel believes that successful architectural projects cannot ignore their context and is concerned with working towards climate, community and user-sensitive designs. He also has a keen interest in innovative technologies and how they can be implemented in the design process.

Serena graduated from Florence University, Italy, with a Masters in Architecture in 2012. She joined nettletontribe in 2016 and had previously worked in Western Australia, Italy and Cameroon.
Her work experience includes a broad range of project types – high quality residential, restoration, healthcare and education. She is passionate about residential projects and started to develop a strong interest for Building Information Modelling (BIM). In her spare time, she helps an independent organisation to design and build emergency and international schools for refugee children around the world.
Serena is currently working on the tender stage of UniLodge Student Accommodation in Kensington, Sydney.

Rayal graduated from University of Melbourne in 2013 with the top graduating thesis named “epilogue”, Shortlisted to the glen murcutt architect student prize as the best thesis project in Australia 2013. Rayal strives through his work to close the gap between image and reality. Rayal looks at design holistically often blurring the boundaries between the disciplines of architecture, interior design, landscape, furniture and lighting.
Rayal started working in architecture from 2007 initially in India when persuing his undergraduate. He has worked on projects ranging from residential, commercial, fitouts, retail and industrial. He started working with nettletontribe in 2015.

Tommy completed his Masters of Architecture at the University of Melbourne in 2011. Upon graduation, Tommy worked in Hong Kong for 5 years at two different studios, involved mainly on residential projects in both the public and private sectors.
Tommy is interested in the process that turns architectural design into reality. He believes design solutions should be derived through understanding and coordination.
Tommy joined the nettletontribe team in April 2018 and has been working on various student aaccommodation projects at Bouverie Street and Elizabeth Street.

Gina Taylor graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Masters of Architecture and a fine arts graduate from Griffith University. Before joining nettletontribe in 2016, Gina had worked on multi-disciplinary projects and a variety of master planning and architectural projects.
Gina recently delivered a DA for Victoria Avenue Chatswood, which is a re-development of an existing site introducing a new hotel and new office.
