The Wesley Hospital Expansion
The Wesley Hospital Expansion is a major new clinical facility designed to strengthen healthcare delivery within The Wesley Hospital Precinct in Auchenflower.
Positioned at 25–27 Chasely Street and 6 Lima Street, the development will connect directly to the existing hospital campus via a pedestrian bridge, improving access and connectivity for patients, families, clinicians and staff.
The facility will support a diverse mix of health services, including a new day surgery centre, six additional operating theatres, expanded and upgraded radiation oncology services, state-of-the-art imaging, dedicated clinician suites and capacity for The Wesley’s specialist services to grow. Located just 2km from Brisbane’s CBD, the development is set to become a new front door to The Wesley Hospital and a future-focused clinical destination for the precinct.
The project supports UnitingCare Queensland’s vision to deliver Brisbane’s largest private comprehensive cancer centre, with purpose-designed spaces for advanced treatment, collaboration, research and specialist care. Now under construction and targeting completion in 2028, the expansion marks a significant next stage for The Wesley Hospital, UnitingCare Queensland and Fluent, acting as project assembler and development adviser.
For nettletontribe, the project reflects the importance of integrated health infrastructure that improves access, supports clinical workflows and enables long-term flexibility within an active hospital campus.
