Northpoint Tower
Northpoint Tower is a significant redevelopment project of one of the tallest commercial towers in North Sydney, with the design challenge to revitalise a site originally built in 1977 and adapt for the modern worker.
Located in the heart of the business district, the existing A grade tower stands in prime position at the corner of the Pacific Highway and Miller Street with panoramic views over Sydney Harbour and easy public transport links.
The redesigned plan expands the tower’s podium to offer a new retail precinct that enhances the existing office tower as well as introducing a new 187 room hotel to the heart of the North Sydney business district.. Originally designed by HDR, the redevelopment marked an opportunity to prioritise connectivity and the ease of pedestrian movement throughout the site, in particular, between Miller Street and the Pacific Highway.
The 4,700m² precinct provides a significant upgrade for potential tenants, with spaces for retail shops, cafes, restaurants and a roof top bar. The dedicated “Eat Street” offers a wide variety of quick eat and sit-down options for the commuters and surrounding workers alike, whilst also drawing people in from the high pedestrian traffic of Miller Street.

The project introduced a new 187 room Vibe Hotel to the centre of North Sydney’s business district. Stretching between the original tower and a new 9-storey building to the north of the site, the 9,500m² hotel brings the convenience of a prime location to the comfort of high-quality hospitality service, offering new conference facilities, a roof top pool and gym.
